This open-head drum of 217 litres, completely made in stainless stee with 1 mm thickness, is the ideal in the case in which great volumes of product with high viscosity and high levels of hygiene are moved. Given the realization through laser weldings the inside of the drum can be easily cleaned as there are not interstices or points in which can deposit residual of product. The absence of rolling hoops allows the optimal emptying through piston systems. The closing is realized through a completely removable lid with gasket, also for food, and closing ring with lever, also made in stainless steel. The outside finish is slightly satin and the inside finish is 2B. It is possible to choose, among the other things, the steel typology, the surface finishes, the application of caps on the lid or on the mantle of the drum. Given the general characteristics, the use of the drum is normally limited to internal movements of products in the most different fields for which is not expected the approval for the transport of dangerous substances.
